Paula Johnson earned a journalism degree, and then worked for a PR agency and a crazy hot start-up before becoming a free agent in 1984.
In 1997, she took a year off to serve as the editor of The Pasadena Weekly, a newspaper for which she wrote both the book column and "Rose City Ramblings," a humor column she created at the request of the publisher. At the end of her tenure she helped sell the paper to Times-Mirror.
Today, she creates radio spots, publications, print literature, and websites for clients in a variety of fields, including fashion, medicine, food, publishing, pets, and business-to-business services.
Outside the office, she enjoys stand-up comedy and has performed at La Casa Blue, The Ice House, and The Comedy Store.
