BIO
Heather Ames has been writing and traveling since attending high school in England, where she won a novel writing contest. She went on to live in France, Italy and Spain and travel extensively throughout Europe and Morocco before moving permanently to the U.S.A. She has continued her globe trotting ways by crossing the continental United States twice and living in six states.
While living in Houston, Texas she took community college courses in creative writing and joined several writers’ organizations, including Romance Writers of America and Mystery Writers. During her years in Boston, Massachusetts she produced, wrote, directed and edited two documentaries that aired on cable access (NewTV13.) She also took classes in TV production and writing for TV after moving to Orange County. She is now a member of Sisters in Crime and is the Fiction SIG leader for the AWG.
She has published short fiction and nonfiction articles. Her first e-published novel, a short contemporary romance, “The Sweetest Song,” is now available from Romance At Heart Publications.
Her second, a romantic suspense, “All That Glitters,” will be released by Awe-Struck E-Books in February 2008.
