BIO

Demetrious Polychron began as a technical script consultant and worked mostly on unproduced screenplays such as Malcolm Smith's WAR GOD, Ray Howard's KNOTS REVISITED, and Clive Barker's ECTO-KID, which was optioned by Aaron Spelling.

He attended and completed Writer's Boot Camp and went on to write his first feature length original screenplay THE UNKNOWN ACTOR.

He joined the Alameda Writer's Group, Southern California's oldest and largest Writer's Group devoted exclusively to the art and craft of Screenwriting and eventually became the Executive Vice President where he mentors new screenwriters and teaches screenwriting.

His first feature length screenplay THE UNKNOWN ACTOR finished as a semifinalist in both the Slamdance Screenwriting Competition and also the prestigious Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting Competition, sponsored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and made it into their listing of the Top 100 Scripts by new writers for 2007.
