The Miracle of Edith Stein
Drama, 114 pages
In 1942 Edith Stein—philosopher, convert, and Carmelite—was murdered at Auschwitz. Forty-five years later, she heard a family’s prayers and gave their critically ill daughter a miraculous recovery. This script is the story of that miracle. It’s also the story of Edith Stein, an avowed atheist whose search for truth leads to conversion, the convent, and martyrdom. And it’s the story of the dispirited doctor who witnessed that miracle, whose own search for the truth leads her to rediscover her own Jewish faith.
